PE Wax

It is excellent lubricant for plasticized and rigid PVC. It prevents the PVC melt from sticking and burning on the hot metal surfaces of the machine and improves the surface properties of the PVC products, such as gloss, smoothness and water repellency.In impact-modified polystyrene, PE wax improves scratch resistance without impairing the mechanical and thermal properties.

Because of above properties PE-waxes enable to provide important functions like

1. Lubricating :

offering both internal and external lubrication due to decreased friction.

2. Wetting and Dispersing :

low viscosity PE wax enables to wet pigments or additives easily, resulting in higher dispersion quality

3. Retention :

to produce pastes for polishes or adjust rheological properties in coating formulations

4. Release / Parting :

inert, non-sticky films formed and used as mould release agents

5. Surface Modifying :

for improved hydrophobing, scratch resistance, sealing, smoothness, anti-blocking, gloss, matting, slip, abrasion resistance and mar resistance in coatings and printing inks.

6. Viscosity Adjustment :

reduction of viscosity to assist final product processing.
